Angelo Moratti

Since 1996, Angelo Moratti has been involved in venture capital investments. It was in this year that he entered the startup world by founding ePlanet, a telecommunications company. The rapid growth of the company led to its IPO in 2000, making ePlanet the first New Economy company in Italy to have a 'fully funded project.'
Moratti continued his entrepreneurial journey by founding Sarlux, a company that built and managed a power plant, thus demonstrating his capability to tackle even the most complex challenges in the energy sector.
The following years were entirely devoted to the financial sector, with the creation of ACM (Angel Capital Management), a private investment company and family office. ACM is also the majority shareholder of Milano Investment Partners SGR, a company that manages Alternative Investment Funds. This initiative stands out for its goal of providing not only capital to visionary young entrepreneurs but also support through every phase of their project development.
Angelo Moratti is also known for his activities in philanthropy and patronage. His role as vice president and member of the executive committee of Special Olympics International showcases his spirit and commitment to paving the way for those who are often left behind. He has also led the Associazione Amici del Centro Dino Ferrari, focused on scientific research towards finding a cure for problems arising from neurological diseases.
