Imane Marouf

Imane  Marouf is the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Ecosmic, an Italian-Dutch startup dedicated to making the space sector more sustainable and cost-effective, starting with easy to integrate solutions for space traffic management.
Imane graduated in aerospace engineering from Politecnico di Milano and has gained extensive experience in the space industry. She previously worked in a space-focused early stage Venture Capital firm, served as an attitude and orbit control engineer at the European Space Agency, and worked as a strategy consultant for a space-focused firm.
Outside the space sector, Imane has been involved in various pro bono projects focusing on supporting diversity, equality, and inclusion, and on helping underrepresented communities switch careers to tech and embrace entrepreneurship. Imane is also an enthusiastic photographer and a very good chef, experimenting with ways to combine her Moroccan and Italian origins in her cooking.
