Carlo Gualandri

Carlo is the founder and CEO of Soldo, the leading Spend Management Platform for businesses in Europe. Founded in 2015, Soldo helps businesses proactively program the way they manage their spend. Before Soldo, Carlo participated in the development of companies in the mobile and social gaming markets at Intent Ventures. He founded Gioco Digitale, a company that became the leader in regulated online gaming in Italy. At Lottomatica (now IGT), he defined the company’s digital business strategy and launched the first online instant lotteries in Italy. At the beginning of the internet revolution, he founded Matrix, where he developed Virgilio, the first web portal in Italy, and the online advertising network Active Advertising. Carlo was involved in the development of the Italian Yellow Pages Online, managed the Internet division of Telecom Italia, as well as participated in the startup of Fineco, the leading Italian online bank.
