Paolo Del Brocco

Paolo Del Brocco is CEO of Rai Cinema since 2010. From 2007 to 2010 he was COO of Rai Cinema. Manager, producer, journalist and adjunct professor in several universities, he is currently board member of “The National Cinema Museum of Turin” and of the Football Club ‘’U.S. Lecce’’.
He’s been board member of Accademia Belle Arti Urbino. He is also board member of ANICA (National Association of Film Industry) and member of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Membership as part of the Executives branch and of EFA (European Film Awards).
In recent years, he has been invited as a member of the Jury of several international Film Festivals.
Paolo Del Brocco has been included in VARIETY500 since 2017, the 500 most influential business leaders ranking in the global media industry.
During the last 15 years of his management as CEO, Rai Cinema has co-produced 903 Italian movies and 584 Italian documentaries, becoming the most important production company in Italy. With 01 Distribution, we released in Italy many US films by some greatest directors, such as Scorsese, Chazelle, Spielberg, Malick, Tarantino, and a slew of Italian hits, becoming the top Italian distributor.
During the last 15 year, 01 Distribution has distributed in Italy 394 movies.
Among the most important awards obtained by Rai Cinema, in addition to the numerous David di Donatello, the most important Movie Award (Best Film, Best Director, Best Producer are included): most memorable awards in the main categories at the Venice Festival, at the Berlinale and at the Cannes Film Festival.
